Featuring twin speakers in the headrest and a powerful subwoofer in the seatback, this legless rocker functions as a comfortable, portable-audio-device booster for video games, movies, and music. The 5.5-inch 30-watt Powersub subwoofer sends vibrations right through a user. The two 3-inch ARX hi-fi performance speakers combine with the subwoofer to create a surround-sound effect when a game console or portable audio device is plugged in. Up to four units can be connected for multi-player gaming.
Covered in soft PVC fabric, the ergonomic 38-pound rocker measures 24 inches high x 18 inches wide and has a 7-inch-thick seat. It folds for storage, has volume and bass controls, and comes with a headphone jack.
The iPod/MP3/PSP docking station's holster allows a music or portable device to remain plugged in while switching from game mode to music mode. The rocker is compatible with PS2, PS3, Xbox, XBox360, Game Cube, Nintendo DS, PSP, iPod, TV, VCR, and all DVD and MP3 players.
* Designed especially for listening to music, this floor-design rocker links to your IPod, MP3 player or CD player
* Great with your TV, DVD, VCR, or CD player; or use with X-Box 360, Play Station 2, TSP, Game Cube, Game Boy and other games
* Unique built-in system uses open space inside the chair to amplify sound and increase sound quality
* Adjustable powered sub-woofer in seat; 2-4" speakers built into headrest; vinyl upholstery covers hardwood frame
* Seat is 19Lx22W; assembly required
This chair is perfect for watching movies or playing videogames (I use it for both very often). I love the built in speakers and they are compatible with EVERYthing you would need... The DVD player, the videogame system, the actual TV itself, and you can even hook up your mp3 player to it.
The chair rocks but not enough to be annoying, just enough to give you something to do while sitting. The armrests are simple, but comfortable. There is a bass and volume control down on the bottom right of the chair.
You honestly feel like you're at the movies when you sitting in this thing in the dark with the speakers on. If you are looking for an alternative to a generic couch or chair for when you spend time infront of the TV, the audio X rocker is definitley a great buy.
* An infant activity chair complete with three activities on an attached side table, music and learning
* A characterized box of pop-up crayons and lamp provide additional learning about what's on the page and keep Baby Company as they play
* The seat activates songs and sounds for the learning, music and imagination modes
* Fun for every Preschooler
* Great details, cool designs

So you get a couple of interlocking pieces that stiffen at the pull of a wire cable. By manipulating the tension, you can make all kinds of crazy shapes strong enough to act as shelving, seating, or flooring. It’s a little blah looking but crafty people might enjoy decorating each slat, maybe to form a mural or to create random flowing patterns depending on the final form.

Rubber tire disposal is a real problem for landfills all over the world. These mountains of tires are not only massive but also very dangerous. Fires that break out on these dumps are almost impossible to put out and have been raging for decades, releasing dangerous toxins into the atmosphere. This “Re-Tyre” concept by Carl Menary is a step in the right direction to help find new ways to repurpose these disposed tires. Carl has ingeniously remolded tires into seating that is perfect for outdoor areas like parks, patios and other public spaces.

A futuristic concept of hammock + chair from Designer "Frédéric Battle". His PoeTree concept is a chair you suspend on your favorite tree - the taller the better - and utilizes a system of cables and pulleys to hull you up slowly. The contraption has a 3-point seat belt and nothing on the system harms the tree in any way, unless you plan on going up wildly swinging a chainsaw.

A colorful rainbow chair designed by Christian Flindt. These modular stackable chairs were not created to just stack on top of each other, but were designed to stack sideways. By stacking them sideways, the chairs can then be used as a colorful bench.
Parts of a Rainbow are certain to be the most admired and talked about item at your next friendly gathering. Made from acrylic plastic, Parts of a Rainbow chairs won the Design Prize 2005 at Copenhagen.
Designer Sebastian Gronemeyer took inspiration from the delicate forms of orchid leaves to create this unnamed chair. The smooth organic curves are actually quite ergonomic. Both the seat and backrest slightly flex to really mount you in when you sit. Tho thin, the reinforced fiberglass material is plenty strong. They’re supported by tubular steel rods mounted on rubber shocks for extra comfort.
The German-born Gronemeyer has now invented his own feminine seating, The Orchid Chair. “Inspired by the leaves of an orchid,” The Orchid Chair undulates in serpentine parabolas—and if that sounds sexy, it’s because it is. Formed from one piece of molded reinforced fiberglass shell mounted on a chrome tubular steel base, The Orchid Chair connects to its base by rubber shock mounts—smooth, in other words.
When you lean back, the chair gives beneath your weight (sort of like an embrace or a return to the womb), making The Orchid’s engineering as welcoming as its pleasurable shape. Definitely an eye catching piece I could see fit in well with both modern and traditional homes.
